And unless the Skins find cap relief by relying more on the draft for cheaper talent, you can kiss Sean Taylor goodbye after 2008. Most good teams covet their own home grown talent, and strive to retain it. Due to the tenuous nature of our cap situation after repeated free agent bonanzas, we're forced to let good players walk (Pierce, Smoot, Clark, etc.). Other than The Danny breaking the bank for Lavar (a big mistake), there haven't been too many other Redskin veterans retained. I'm amazed that Gibbs and Snyder can't see that in the salary cap age, most successful teams win with roster stability.
