No he does some things that are wrong, mainly not knowing when to shut up and stop speaking his mind. But he doesn't have some agenda to ruin every team he is on like ESPN slants everything. If you read my post carefully it says I didn't say it was right for him to fall asleep.

You said it wasn't right, but then you basically brushed it off by saying it's no big deal.

I don't think it's a big deal either, I'm just sick of this attention whore. It's amazing that he's literally been in the news every week this season and each week it's about something different.

I don't think he sets out to ruin the teams he's on, but at the same time he just can't help himself. He'll end up running himself out of Dallas too, it's inevitable.

Wait so because the media follows him around everywhere and constantly harrasses him and the entire Dallas Cowboys organization he is an attention whore? It's not like TO gets on his cell 10 minutes after the meeting to report this hot story that he just fell asleep. The media is so obsessed with keeping him the NFL's "Bad Boy" that they will report anything they can to make him look like an evil team wrecker. Exhibit A is this ridiculous thread.

I'm not saying the media doesn't jump all over his every move, but at the same time he's just as guilty. He doesn't shy away from any of the attention that's for damn sure. Don't make him out to be an innocent victim because he's far from it.

So because he isn't a shy person he's guilty? The media asks him these outrageous questions and he answers them the best he can, sometimes in a brutally honest manner. What he is guilty of is not being too 'touchy-feely' in the way he phrases some things. But what can he do when the media makes firestorms out of crap like being late to one meeting and falling asleep in film session. He's only freaking human...

C'mon dude just stop.

There's no defending this guy, he's an attention whore and brings alot of this crap on himself.

I really can't believe a 49er fan of all people is trying to defend him.

News flash for ya, TO is freaking crazy.

If that's the way you see things then believe it. I choose not to buy the slanted jounalism that takes place around him.

He helped my team win a lot of football games. I don't blame him for leaving the sinking ship that was this franchise at the time.

He wanted a trade, is that all that bad? Even great players have wanted that in their career's, Jerry Rice for one. TO is obviously very motivated to get a ring and I don't blame him for wanting to go somewhere where that would be possible because at the time looking at our salary cap situation it was clear that we weren't going to be competitive for a while.

i think your facts are misleading. the niners knew rice was thru, and wanted him to retire. rice thought otherwise, and was released. i hardly think Owens was at the end when he left Frisco. and the part about the ring is a joke. hell, the eagles and Owens were playing in the super bowl, the season before, and all he was worried was getting paid. so don't give me that line of shit about Owens wanting a ring
