How many kickers each year taken in the draft become a teams' regular kicker? Maybe 1 or 2 per year at the most?

yeah, it really depends on the year though. and kickers taken before the 5th tend to stick around pretty well (nugent, kaeding, gostkowski, etc), though almost all rookie kickers have a couple rough years to start.
