So he either doesn't care about the success of the team, or he's too blind to realize he's turned underperforming into an art form.

And why is he so mad about the question? He doesn't even look like he wants to put points on the board. He just wants his rating to look good(which he has only managed to do four times this year), so that Gibbs can talk about how well he played.
He did not appear to be mad at all??? Ask Brett Favre how long he intends to play?

First of all, Favre has broke 340 yards three times this season. Brunell has not broken 340 yards in three seasons in Washington. Second of all, the Packers are actually in the playoff hunt. Third, he's Bret Favre. How can you even mention him in the same sentence as Mark Brunell?

I really didn't want to see Brunell go out without accomplishing what I believe was his goal when he agreed to come to Washington, and that was to win a SB before he retired. That's the dream of every NFL QB, but unfortunately for him it's not going to happen, at least not here. I supported him for a long time after he first arrived because I wanted to believe he could still get it done, but after watching him closely from the end of last year till now, I was convinced that despite the fact he still had the desire, he no longer had the physical ability to get the job done. I do appreciate his efforts, and wish him well in all his endevors after football.
