btw, it really is too bad GB re-signed aaron kampman so quickly. I thought he was the best FA available last year (above everyone besides except maybe wayne), and for 5mill a year, he's running circles around carter .

I eyeballed the cap sheet. If Danny has an itch, he can really scratch it without giving up any of our stars. (That is without re-structuring anyone which I am sure will happen)

Personally, I am hoping that we just bang away at quality depth for reasonable prices.

I hear that. the trouble is generally when the backloaded parts start to hit (~2009) that it'll get messier. We will need to sign at least one big FA at CB or DE, and take a look at whether we need an OL replacement, which aren't cheap (if you want quality).
