I love Gibbs as much as anyone. I also think a CERTAIN amount of amnesty is warranted. However, no one is immune from criticism after a point. Should we never question his decision making forever based on past success? Do we all get a lifelong pass at our jobs because we were productive in the past? Like it or not, we are judged on how we produce today with more or less of a break based on past performance. Gibbs certainly gets a major break, however his stubborness does, at times, get under my skin

I think people are getting being critical and being impatient mixed up. I don't believe nobody here has ever said not to question anything Gibbs does, but I think most of us are saying to pack in and start all over again now is being waay out of line.

he is saying that there is a difference between being critical and being impatient. he is also saying that being critical is fine (questioning some of gibbs moves) but being impatient is not fine (calling for gibbs to be fired)

i think thats what he is saying.

Forgive me not, but all I meant was do not bag on our past greats. We have a tradition that needs us to walk tall and with our heads up no matter what. The good years are the best, the bad years make us tougher and bring us us closer together. It is my priviledge to be a Redskin fan.

Hail

it's ok to question certain decissions made by gibbs and co. but to say things like "gibbs should be fired" or "greg williams has lost it" is kinda silly too me. as to the bad decissions made by gibbs and co. i think there were only two mistakes 1- letting antonio peirce go. 2- letting ryan clark go.

Oh, and yeah how about Brunell being confused as to what play to call because Sauders #437 page play call was not perfectly remembered.
This is my point and I'm done: we are 3-6, like it or leave it, we are much less than we expected, if this is the worst you've seen from the Redskins(historically) then go elsewhere. I'm here to stay FOREVER. Anybody right now who is second guessing Danny, Joe, Al, Gregg, Vinny or the all of the rest of us should pick and root for another team.
See there was this guy once playing for the AZ Wranglers in the USFL and a few years later he won a SB. There are a few SB records he broke in a stomping of the Broncos. He wore #17, NOW WE WEAR #17.

Hail 3 SB's

I dont get it, Im not allowed to be upset with the way things are going, and if I am, then Im not a real fan. And trust me I have doubted Vinny C since he got here, ask the fans in San Francisco if they want him back and you just might get punched. There have been people around the league who have mocked us for having Vinny running a very important part of this team, hes considered a joke around the rest of the NFL. I cant remember the last time I missed a Skins game, whether there playing terrible or there playing Great, I have and always will be a Redskins fan, but to say that "if your disappointed in the way things have gone, then your not a true fan" is rediculous
And as for Arch,Springs,Rogers and Taylor, whom you forgot to mention, yes they have had a very subpar year, but maybe it has something to do with Jerry Gray, are defensive backs were great until he took over as Dbacks coach, until this season we could plug in anyone back there and they would play great, thats not the case this season.

being a good corner and being mean-spirited towards people are not mutually exclusive traits. i'm sorry so many people insist on black and white classifications of things (if he's a good corner, then he must be good at everything he's ever done and never ever done anything wrong). and it's not like one 5 minute meeting, it's literally hundreds of encounters over a long period of time. you're welcome to ignore the facts if you wish, but that's pretty much the definition of being delusional.

and please stop with the "we are family" bit, we've already have that discussion twice and you're the only person who seems to believe that. If someone here stole or assaulted someone, I wouldn't try to cover that up or start talking about how cool it is to ignore things just because i find them personally unpleasant.

DG was a great football player, he does a lot for charity, and sometimes he's even nice to people. that doesn't mean that he didn't prevent others from promoting their charities (even when they had NOTHING to do with him) or that a majority of meetings left fans unhappy. It's not either/or.

Hey That Guy,

I'm trying to put on blinders and put a happy face on everything. Please stop shooting "facts" in my face.

there really is no better way to release some frustration then to give a good, swift, kickoff the tee type of kick right into the face of a puppie.
