Gibbs stopped calling plays for one reason. He knows that, physically, he can't do what it takes to run the offense effecively (at least for much longer). He did the best thing, long term, for teh team. Bring in a proven offensive coordinator with a similar pedigree to run the offense.
It sucks that we lost out this year, but if our defense was playing like it was last year, we would still be looking at getting into the playoffs about the time the offense is really coming together. I don't remember exactly when, but Campbell said in his interview that he couldn't hear "Saunders play". Sounds like Saunders is calling a Gibbs style gameplan to me!
