Do the smurfs ring a bell at all, or the Posse?

Outside of Monk Gibbs always favored the small and quicker WRs.

Monk was by many teams slated as a TE in fact i belive he played some TE here kind of like the hybrid HB possition Cooley played in the first two years he was here .... so in fact yes Gibbs does have a big WR type target now. ARE and Lloyd have to be given time to pan out the issue is in three years time thier contracts start to get bigger so it would be renegocitation time or bye time for one or both

We do have Cooley though who is a better receiving TE than Gibbs ever had in his first run.

That's comparing apples to oranges. Cooley doesn't have WR speed or hands.

I'm just comparing offensive weapons. The big WR theory is seriously overrated these days anyway, especially with the new rules that favor the WRs.

If that's true, it will be interesting to see how high Calvin Johnson gets drafted if

he comes out this year.

i completely agree. Lloyd was a bad signing. we would've been just as good, if not better with Moss, Randle El, and Patten as the three WR's!

not to mention, that Gibbs had each of the Posse get over 1000 yards a season, and still played "redskin football."
