Just to add to that, I speak with guys from NASCAR almost every day and members of Joe Gibbs Racing very often (let's say weekly) and we were talking about Gibbs on Wednesday of this past week. And they were telling me that Gibbs was very much a hands-off CEO as a NASCAR owner. He had a vision of how he wanted the operation run, the means to get good sponsors, and he hired the best people and let them handle the nitty-gritty. His day to day commitment to NASCAR as a team owner has never been as strong as it has been to the NFL as a head coach. Moving to NASCAR definitely allowed him to be closer to his family, it allowed him to spend a lot more time with his wife and JD in North Carolina and travel to visit Coy in Stanford.

That must be nice...have you met any of the drivers?
For some reason I am a Jeff Gordon fan, so I do not like Tony Stewart at all, but I definitely recognize Joe Gibbs racing as a great team.

Yeah I've met several of them. Tony Stewart is really cool, always having fun. Gordon is kind of arrogant. Jeff Burton is probably the nicest of them all.

I always heard Burton was a good guy.

I think it'd be fun to be part of a racing team.

i hate that you don,t like smoke but hell most don,t anyways...
again nascar/football ,you do it with the people..
i would much rather see gibbs the coach take over but i want team president gibbs to hire a GM too.
this is a what have you done for me lately league now and right now it don,t look too good but i remain patient.

actually gibbs is ahead of all the other coaches like parcells,and dick vermeil,
vermeil especially.he'd been out the league,was a winning coach,and it took him almost 5 years and a new qb to win the superbowl!

Actually he won the Super Bowl in year 3 with the Rams.
