Great guys to hang out with, really laid back. I worked security at the Peppermint Beach Club in Va. Beach back in the mid ninetys and met tons of bands, Pantera was my favorite. They played there 4-5 times, 100 mph on stage and off, total blast! Its a shame about Dimebag, as a matter of fact I think today is the 2 yr anniversary of his murder. Anyway the list is long on bands Ive met and hung out with, but the Deftones are up at the top as far as great show and good people.

Pantera back in the day... man those guys just tore it up!

I remember hearing Mouth for War for the first time and it just rocked my skull. I was hooked from that moment.

That reminds me, the live concert pics on the inside of that cd were taken at the Peppermint Beach club. They loved playing there. It was a small venue, max. 1100 people, But they loved playing that size, close to the fans, jumping into the mosh pit and all that fun stuff they couldnt do at the huge venues. They did a couple of tours w/ White Zombie and came to the Hampton Coliseum and it was Darrells (guitar) b-day and we hung out on stage by the amps and watched the whole show from there, it was amazing. But nothing like seeing them in a smaller place.
