Thanks for posting that article Tafkas. I hadn't seen it.
The argument about players getting special treatment from Gibbs because of their faith is stupid, tired and old. Again, this would not be an issue if we were winning. The whole team has played badly this season, saints and sinners alike. |

I think we can all agree that Gibbs wanted very badly for Brunell to work out, and he stuck with MB too long. However, I wouldn't pin it all on a common savior. Gibbs loves vets, he brought in MB, and MB did what was (minimally) necessary to get us into the playoffs last year. He should have pulled the plug on MB in the Indy game, but at least he figured it out this year.

Gibbs has loyalties, though - don't underestimate that. That can be a strength or a weakness.

As for Gibbs: Irish does have a point ... like he said, people who are "friends" with the boss have a little more job security -- I don't think religion is the key though. I think ODS said it best, "Gibbs has loyalties..."
