You have to look at it like this...Injuries WILL happen. There is no doubt in my mind that Springs will be injured next year at some point, due mainly to his age. So that leaves Rogers as a #1, and who as a #2?
At DE or LB we have replacements that are mediocre and could get away with those players in those areas, but we can't make it at CB. We've proven that. When Springs and Rogers are on their game, we have a decent secondary, when they aren't, we suck HARD. Clearly our most pressing need is CB.
That's not to say we don't need a DE or LB (LB especially). We do, just CB is more pressing.
