Well, the player having the best season in the NFL is LaDainian Tomlinson, but I think you have to wait these final 3 weeks before picking the MVP. A lot can happen in 3 weeks, or the last fifth of the season, but don't count out a darkhorse like a Carson Palmer or a Larry Johnson if the Chiefs make a run either.
This moment, the MVP of the league is Brees, but in the words of Charlie Weis, "you are always remembered by how you finish."
