I don't know where San Diego would be with out him, but I would be pretty confident to say that they would have more than 7 wins with Mike Turner in thier backfield. I mean LT gets the TD's but people offten forget that he has one of the best fullbacks in Lorenzo Neal plowing the way for him. Hell even LT admits that his success is in part to Neal paving the the way for him.

With that being said I believe that Brees deserves the nod for MVP. He basicly put that team on his back this whole season. My biggest argument for Brees is this, put Aaron Brooks back on the Saints at QB with Coleston, Horn, Bush, McAllister. Would the Saints with Brooks be where they are at now? I highly doubt it, hell even with the current back up QB the Saints are no where close to the same team.

If Brees was on pace to break Mannings single season TD record then I think that there would be alot of hype around Brees. But the fact of the matter is, is that Brees is getting it done quietly and maybe getting overlooked...

Unless Bress gets another 10 or 15 TDs, before the season's over, then LT will win MVP without a contest. I think LT will be the best of all time.

However, Brees might deserve it just as much as LT. They could do a Co-MVP, like they did a few years back -- but I hope they don't. I hated that.
