Everyone would be saying how that was the wrong call and you have to get the points in order to go up by more than a FG with 4 min left in the game.

Your reasoning explains why Gibbs made the decision to kick the FG, and in my opinion it was the proper decision to make. With that three points, NO was forced to score a TD on their last drive with no other options available.

The pass to Moss, prior to the FG, I would have liked to see go pass the first down marker as opposed to two yds. short, then maybe Gibbs would not have had to make that FG decision at all.
