I never said that Campbell is not the future, I never said bring in Collins, I never said I think he is bad, all I said is I thought he had his worst game this season. There were lots of things in this game that showed that he has alot of promise, ie his pass selection, calmness, mobility, poise, but when he misses 6 wide open recievers, I think that is terrible. Once he gets his accuracy down, he'll be a stud, but 6 easy misses is ridiculous.

Actually I believe your statement was that JC played "like absolute shit today." Clearly almost everyone here disagrees.

Nobody is putting words in your mouth - perhaps you initially overstated just how bad you thought he played.

For a kid playing in his 5th NFL game, I'd say he looked just how you'd expect a talented but young QB to look. Sure he missed some throws, missed some open receivers. He also landed some beauties and had a few dropped by receivers.

He's young, making some mistakes but steadily improving. Watch guys like Phillip Rivers on Sunday, or Alex Smith all last season, and we're really doing a hell of a lot better than some teams with young QBs.
