Promising young QB is one of the worst things a coach can have. I'd MUCH rather have an accomplished veteran, or better yet, a young guy who has won a Super Bowl and who has the complete faith of his teammates.

Besides, Leinart will never do much unless he gets some protection.

As far as talent, yes. But.........their ownership sucks. Bidwell has no idea how to build a winning team. Dennis Green got a raw deal. It's hard enough for the best teams to win in the NFL. How does he expect a turnaround in three years? Constantly changing coaches only sets the franchise back. That team needs consistancy above all else. The talent is definitely there though.
