Those are all the independents in the NCAA div 1A. UConn is on it. It is possible that UConn is independant when it comes to football...like Temple is in the Atlantic 10 in Basketball.

You must be looking at an outdated page. There was a brief span when they were between conferences (2000-2003) and were an independant. They've began playing in the big east in 2004.
