What was up with the Bill Belichick shove?

So we would rather have a well mannered, gracious, nice coach, etc... under 50% record or a guy who's kind of a jerk with three SB's and a winning record?

We seem to have the best of both worlds, a winner and a gracious coach. Now I know he didn't do to so good this year, but he has years of success that heavily outweigh this one. Only three losing seasons in fifteen years is pretty good if you ask me. Like Belichick he has also won three superbowls and been to one more than him.
