Matty, I asked the pharmacist about Zicam -- if you take a one-a-day vitamin with zinc, it has the same effect.

That'll save you about 10 bucks, but any way you can boost your immune system it'll shorten the duration and lessen the severity of a cold.

So there you go. Free advice from the germaphobe.
