Re: How do you like the Colts chances?

All of a sudden they're playing D, playing physical, and winning with Manning having very non-Manning like games.

They are definitely a dangerous team right now.

The Colts have stopped LJ and Lewis, neither one of those guys is LT, but who thought they woulda been able to stop LJ or Lewis? In addition, Sean Taylor needs to start watching tapes of Bob Sanders, and start playing like he plays. That guy is tiny, but he is a force to be reckoned with, it's amazing how much of a difference that guy makes.

I just want Belichick, Tom Brady, and the Patriots out of it. I'm sick of them.

I'd love to see the Bolts and the Saints in the big game. To see two teams that have never been there, and explosive offenses should make it a great game.

I'm also rooting for Marty. He's put in his time, he's due.

San Diego played against San Francisco in SB XXIX (29). Sure they got masscred, but they've been there.

That's right. I forgot about that game -- and it was certainly forgettable.

I'd really like to see a Colts versus Bears but wouldn't it be fun for nostalgia to have a Bears versus Pats Super Bowl repeat (and similiar result ).

Yeah, it would be fun (and only fun) if the Bears win the SB over tha Pats.

If the Pats win again, I'm going to throw up.

Same here...kudos to the Pats for assembling a team of tough, smart football players - says a lot about a team when they aren't the most athletic and can still achieve the success that the Pats have had - even in games when Brady stinks up the joint. Brady is among the greatest ever QBs to play the game. They've got players with unbelievable smarts - Look at the plays their players make - Troy Brown's strip of McCree in yesterday's game, Ben Watson chasing down Champ Bailey after a 90 yard INT pursuit, etc. You can't teach that.

That said, f&#k the Pats - they established their dynasty and now its time for a change. They get a lot of Primadonna calls, and I don't see them beating Indy in Indy. The Colts have owned them in the last two meetings.

I could definitely see a Colts - Saints Superbowl being a 45-42 shootout. That would be great fun. I'm kind of pulling for the Saints. It pains me to think that the Skins trucked them on their home turf, yet played so poorly in so many other games.

Re: How do you like the Colts chances?

I don't like the Colts' chances to go all the way. These last two weeks, their defense has been playing so far above their regular season production that it can't even be the same 11 guys.

Peyton is finally getting some help from his D, which is one of the things that needed to happen for that team to make a deep run. However, as well as that D has played, it was the Chiefs and the Ravens who they played, and the Chargers and the Pats will both be harder to stop.

The Colts would beat the Patriots because of HFA, Peyton would tear up that D. But if they have to play San Diego on the road, it's not a game that I think the Colts can win.

They could beat either NFC team in the Super Bowl (the Seahawks arent a contender), but I'd pick the NFC team against either the Pats or the Colts.

Re: How do you like the Colts chances?

The Colts-Pats is the matchup I wanted to see, if only to see Peyton Manning finally exorcise his demons. You've got to face your fears and for years the Patriots have had Manning's number. He's finally beaten them in the regular season the past two years, which should do wonders for his confidence.

I'm pulling for a Colts-Bears Super Bowl if only to guarantee a black head coach wins the SB.

And "San Diego, Super-Chargers!" is one great song, even if it is a tad disco-y.

Every time they've met in the playoffs, it was in cold, icy New England, which puts the Colts at a significant disadvantage. Peyton will play at home next week, and theres no reason to think he won't win this one.

Well, there are a lot of reasons actually, namely that the Pats have the better team this year, but at home with a chip on his shoulder I like the Colts in this one.

Yeah, I think that's suprised everyone. If the Colts "D" plays like they have been, theres no stopping them.

I'm cheering for NO to win it all.
