No joke. I'll never knock Marino; he's a legend for a reason. However if I have to pick between the two to win a single playoff or championship game, it's Brady every time. 12-1 lifetime in the postseason says it all.

Out of that 12-1 record, how many of those games were games that the Patriots wouldn't have won with some average QB? Maybe 3-4 tops. The Pats are a good team and Brady is a great QB, but if your sample size is 13 games, you don't prove very much.

If we're talking regular season I'd agree 13 games is a small sample. But when that sample of 13 games is from the post season only, it definitely means something. Any way you slice it, a 12-1 post season record is very impressive.

Brady was always on a better team than Marino. Look at the defense that Brady has always had, except last year, when they went nowhere.

NE won a playoff game last year. Look at the recievers Brady is working with right now. They are a bunch of castoffs.

Brady is a great QB. No doubt about it. He does not have any stud wr's at all. Brown, Caldwell and Gaffney??? But he does have two very good TE's. I'm very impressed with his poise, pocket pressence and underated arm. But to say he's better than Marino might be stretching it. Your talking about one of the best pure passers of all time. Plus Marino never had any of the very solid defenses that NE always fields. I think Marino was better but not by much.

Im sooooooooooo sick of greg brady and the brady bunch. Ive NEVER seen a team get away with more than them. Ive never seen a team have more good luck on their side than them. Ill say hes one of the better qbs of late, but thats it. Chargers bad luck and mistakes won the game for the patsys.

Joe Montana at his best was the greatest postseason QB I've ever seen. His '89 postseason may be the greatest ever by a QB:

That's a good point, Brady is winning this season with crap WRs. He does have two outstanding TE's and two excellent RBs. Then again Montana didn't exactly have Hall of Fame WRs for his first two Super Bowls either (Rice and Taylor both came to SF later).
