Mort on the Portis trade rumors

I don't understand how anybody can think Portis is expendable now that Betts had 1 good year. Every good team that Gibbs has ever had, he used 2 backs. I don't remember The early days with Riggins, but in 87 it was Bryant, Rogers,and Smith. In 91 it was Byner and Ervins. Why does everybody think that Portis and Betts Cant coexist.

This is a strength on our team. But it would become a weakness (depth) if we let one of them get away.
