The crappy cartridges will get your face too.
Still better to buy a DE razor with 100 blades that will cost you from $10-20 depending on brand. A blade lasts a week, so that's about 2 years of blades for less then the cost of going out to eat once...solo. The shaves are infinitely better too.

Electric always left me feeling like I hadn't shaved yet...sandpapery feel. Also dried out the skin.

My Dad has always shaved with an electric. I don't know how he does it, but it works for him I guess.

Growing a beard was one of the best decisions I've ever made (I haven't made many important life decisions in my 30 years on this planet).
I do have to shave under my chin/neck a little bit two or three times a week, but it takes me like 2 minutes so it's not bad.
