Please post any statement where Bush has said there was a conection between Bin Ladan and Iraq. It was not Lawenski (spelling) it was the other lady (not sure of her name) who sued him for sexual harasment which he lied and then that got the whole Lawenski thing going. Sorry this is starting to get political I could not let this go because its not correct. Bush did say there was a tie to terrorist which has been proven but not Bin Laden and 9/11 which he has never claimed.

this is a fabricated story, along with the weapons of mass destruction, that the republicans wanted the public to believe in, so that w could invade iraq. and finish something his daddy couldnt

So you can't find any statement where Bush linked the two thats the fabricayed story from the left. Bill Clinton, all other major nations, most of congress, UN, also said there where WMD's.

Are you saying that the WMDs was made up? I think it is generally accepted that EVERYONE, including the Brits, Germans and hell even the French were SURE they had weapons. I am not saying the other stuff wasn't stretched but I am tired of hearing about the BS WMD lie. No one lied. They were just wrong.

OMG, I am speechless. We have clear evidence and the whole yellow cake thing escapes your mind? The fact that the CIA had some reservations about the claim doesn't bother you? That's not wrong, that's world mass deception.

the thing that bothers me about this is, the CIA and the FBI existed for years and years, but never worked together? someone way back when should have handled this. they should be sharing info, and working hand and hand, to better our security

Wow. Didn't think I'd agree with you on anything in this thread.

But yeah, the CIA, FBI, & NSA (among others) should have been working hand in hand all these years to protect us. Unfortunately past presidents didn't see it that way.

I don't agree with everything Louis Freeh did as Director of the FBI, but he was on the right track when he went to Clinton in the mid to late 90s to try and break down the wall of separation between the FBI and CIA. Clinton wouldn't have any of it, unfortunately. I like to think that if he knew then what he knows now he would have listened to Director Freeh.

Not sure of the ladies name but in the Clinton administration she made it illegal (not sure if thats the right term) to make sharing info a no no. The reason I remember this is because their was a fuss about her sitting as a member on the 9/11 commission because she would be investigating stuff she did.

The CIA had qualms about the African Uranium claims not WMDs in general. It was accepted worldwide that they had WMDs. That is the truth. You are the one forgetting. The only person saying they didn't was Hans Blix who everyone thought was a nut. Apparently we should have listened.

i disagree with this, but.. it would have been a whole lot easier to swallow if bush and the boys would have come out and said this. look folks, we were wrong. never a peep, still declaring they(wmd) are in iraq, somewhere

What I was saying that they never said that they worked together to attack America or 9/11 but there is alot of evidence that they did infact have ties. Here is a link and strol down to the Incovenient Facts portion and see what was left out of the post article. The Post even said that they had ties and contacts but there was no evidence they worked together to attack America.
