I really think he simply is so consistent that it is so hard to compete. He can go out and blow people away one round but really what he does is consistently shoot 64-67 whereas it seems even the other good players can shoot 64-67 three rounds and 70-72 for one. Somehow he seems to really avoid rounds that take him out of contention.

And I do think the other are intimidated. Think about it. You're leading after 2 rounds but Tiger is 3 or 4 strokes back. Now you know he going to go 66-67 at the worst the next two rounds so you're thinking I can't shoot worse than 68 once or he's right on my ass. Next thing you know you're pushing a little. Then you hear a roar from up ahead and see the leaderboard change and Tiger move up. Now you're just about the crap your pants because what you KNEW was going to happen is happening. Even the best know he is going to push them and no one seems to know what the hell to do when they HAVE to get it done. He is so relentless.
