Underdog's
Here's how I see it, some unsung player's who will make the team, #1 D-line Warner, he has stood out amoungst the D-linemen this pre-season, #2 Gary Scott WR, he look's very good in his limited time, very quick out of his break's, and #3 Rufus Brown CB, although he did get beat for a TD last night, the way he was beat would have happened to 95% of the corner's in the league, those are my 3 player's we didn't even know their names when camp started.
I also see pierce getting a lot of playing time this season, he defiently outshines Mitchell, and fit's what William's want's to do on defense, pierce's biggest attribute out there is that he can play all 3 linebacker position's, which I believe will enable him a lot more time on the field this season. |

I want to see Kheri Campbell make the squad. He's the biggest worry I see for someone who can really help us getting cut.

I like Pierce too. When he came in as an undrafted rookie, I remember Schottenheimer saying he was the smartest rookie he'd ever coached. He seems to be all around the ball when he's in there... Looks to be a great opportunity for him!
Warner has looked good too.. he seems to have a high motor and gets in the backfield in a hurry. Scott certainly has gotten a lot of looks too. I guess with him getting the kick/punt return work with Morton, that can't bode well for Simon (who I'm also rooting for). Damn. I was just getting used to rooting for Ade. Sadly, I just don't see him making it past next Tuesday.

Whatever happened to Scott Cloman, he did amazing things in preseason last year but doesn't seem to have gotten the reps this year. Shame.

Yeah, well Cloman was at practice camp. Haven't seen much of him in the preseason.

hillary duff "fly" is a really good song... but yeah, i think gari has been good, but how much room do we have for a WR? Cliff is gone...that leaves coles, gardner, mccants, thrash, jacobs...will we keep 6? we do like to line up morton out wide sometimes.

I was raked through the coils for saying this but oh well, Jacobs is going to have to battle Scott for the fifth spot. Gibbs wants talent and durability. I know Jacobs was a high draft pick, but Scott came in and made an immediate immpression with a TD and is pretty good at punt return. At training camp I saw Scott practicing with Coles, Gardner and McCants. No Jacobs,Cloman or Russell in sight due to injuries. |

Remember Coles is not going to play the entire season in good health. I think the speed should come from Thrash and Scott.

Taylor Jacobs impressed the hell out of Gibbs in mini-camp. At least that's what I got from his interviews. I'll be shocked if Jacobs gets cut. Jacobs has better hands and speed than Scott.

I think Jacobs is far more talented but what good is he if he plays 4 games out of 16 this year. The train is moving all aboard!
