Sorry, I tried to edit out the infuriated comment. When i saw it on paper it looked a lot stronger then I had intended. So I am not infuriated.
But I have about 10 friends who have served　or are serving over there, one of whom is one of my closest friends in life, and while they are proud of the work they have been a part of, they do not relay the message to me that things are predominantly going smoothly. To the contrary they believe, and recent troop surveys back this up, that our presence there complicates our mission because of the hatred we engender among the Iraqi people.
