I WOULD NOT overpay for Clements, or any other CB for that matter. I've repeatedly said that the Skins need to reinforce the D-line to take pressure off the DBs. Get a sustained pass rush from the front 4, and Carlos Rogers will become more than servicable, and Sean Taylor will take his game to the next level.

Good points. Smoot would be nice as would Clements. I feel that either would be worth a decent but not exorbiant amount of money due to our lack of quality depth at DB positions. Getting pressure from front four would DEF take a lot of pressure off the secondary and would help the D in general.
