Nate Clements Versus Fred Smoot

i love fred smoot (silky johnson) as much as anyone. if hes asking for 3 million like someone said we could get him for, then forget it. there are a lot of uninformed posts but lets get real here. someone that gets cut from one team doesnt go to another and make 3 million. he will get a deal from someone just over veterans min. so like in the 1 -1.5 million range per year. nate clements is a better corner and will not have to adjust to the system because he played in it under greg williams and jerry gray... either would be a help carlos rogers doesnt have it....why is everyone talking about springs moving to safety or cutting him, um if i am correct he bottled up steve smith this year. hes our best corner and has been since he came here.
