Should Dockery Be Re-signed Before Free Agency Starts (next Friday)

I think it comes down to that basic philosophical question. Does a player earn his money from his previously accomplished body of work (Archuleta) or for his potential future (Dockery)

Or do you just say F it and give him a blank check, and then convert him to another position.
