Wouldn't surprise me, after Clements' deal. But hopefully, the market is not so hot for Smooty, after his aquatic escapades, and, much more to the point, his lackluster years in MN. If he'd been burning it up with the Vikes, no way the boat thing makes any difference.

If this and fisher fails were looking in Kenny Wright's direction. Sad but true. Fisher seems like a huge liability anyways. Who knows if this fails maybe Betts does go some where.

Here is the up to date info on Smoot....From the Redskin insider JLA: Smoot is still at Redskin park talking. That a good thing not on a plane. JLA said if he is signed a press conference coming sunday.
