Obviously at this point we aren't gonna make a big splash in free agency at the guard position. Giving a guy like Mulitalo a moderate contract and bringing in guys like this Ross Tucker fella is the right way to proceed. That being said, I still think we are going to use the draft in part for O-line regardless of what the rest of free agency brings.
I think we CAN count on vets for 1-2 seasons, but our entire line, including starters, is gonna start aging sooner rather than later, so the future is paramount, and the draft is certainly the best way to build. I think our FO may be finally realizing this now.
