Russell to the skins?

According to Shefter, the visit was at his Pro Day but they are trying to schedule a personal interview with him.
Only three scenarios make any sense to me about this.
First, remember Auburn two years ago. Everyone knew that the Skins were chasing Rogers (they publicly discussed his attributes) and at his Pro Day they snuck in a conversation with JC.
Second, due to Snyder's wonderful choices in recent years, it would make perfect sense for him to grab a big name instead of a great player at a position of need (Anderson). And honestly, it must be killing Snyder that he hasn't gotten any splash since the SB. So, he trades up, drafts him, then trades him to the Chiefs who the Raiders didn't want to get Russell bc they'd have to play him twice a year (I know it's unreasonable to think that this much thought has gone into it but I'm hopeful).
Or third, This is complete nonsense. THere is absolutely no interest but it gets your name in the news.
