Very similiar with Jacksonville's D as well. They have an outstanding front 7 which makes their corners look decent. When the corner leaves and plays for a team with a terrible D-line, his sub-par play becomes spotlighted. On the other hand, secondary and D-line compliment each other. If the secondary is truly a shut down unit then the QB has to go through more reads to find the open man. Which means more time for the "sack masters" to get to him. If the sack masters can get to the QB faster then the secondary doesn't have to cover as long. It's very similiar to peanut butter and jelly. Both can be okay individually but together they form the perfect combination.
