Yeah I really don't think Springs will be playing SS for us, thats why I left him out, because when Springs is healthy he is by far our best CB and we need him to stay there.

Key phrase there.. He's fragile and I think a move to safety would actually protect him more if we somehow pull the Bly trade..

How would a move to safety protect him?

He is going to have to take on a blocker on almost every running play and he's going to have to tackle much larger guys running directly at him.
If was has too fragile trying to jam WR's at the line and dragging them down when they made a catch, How is he going to hold up trying to shed a block from a TE or pulling guard only to see a power back trying to kill him?

I don't understand why the coaches want him moved over to strong safety.
