Re: NFL Network: Bears' Briggs, 31st Pick for Skins' 6th Pick?

Is it the fact that Rocky can't play, or is it the fact that Williams doesn't know how to use him? We know AA can play, but he looked as if he didn't belong in the NFL under Williams. I know Williams had a fabulous first 2 years with us but maybe just maybe we are starting to see why he was such a lowsey head coach. I need to know how dumb you have to be not be able to understand the weakside LB position? It's not like anyone is being asked to split the atom, or maybe they are under Williams? |

Re: NFL Network: Bears' Briggs, 31st Pick for Skins' 6th Pick?
I agree, but Lindsey had the power to keep Lavar off the field, and Gibbs self proclaimed knowledge of defense is to tell them to "get 'em". I'm sure Lindsey had input, maybe enough to say he could make one guy excel in the system but not another. I just seems wierd that of all the coaches he took the fall when the d-line and DBs were also awful. It wasn't just his gruff attitude.
