Springs has all the leverage. If he gets cut he will most likely be making more money elsewhere. Not sure why the Redskins would expect him to take a pay cut? Hope that you're right. I would love to see Springs, Taylor, Rogers, and Smoot start for us in the secondary new season.

Unless it's for health reasons I don't see why they would cut him at this point. He fits into the cap right now despite his high number, and my guess is they'll get him to restructure at some point.

I may take heat for this but in my opinion he's the most talented secondary player on our roster right now when healthy.

Strength, Speed, Tackling, Coverage, experience, leadership is above everyone else. He needs to be here.

Yeah you will take some heat and I'll start

Taylor is far and away the most talented player in the secondary and perhaps the entire team. Has he lived up to his potential yet? No, definitely not. But from a pure raw talent perspective, I think Taylor is easily one of our top players, if not the very top.

Springs when healthy is definitely a very talented corner. He does have an impressive all-around skill set. Like you said he's physical, good speed, and he's been around the block. But if we're comparing raw talent, I don't think Springs can even come close to Taylor.

I can't remember the last time Springs was burned for a TD or picked up a personal foul or dropped an interception in his hands. That's all I'm saying. Taylor's potential is Ronnie Lott. I'm sure there are some prisoners doing time now that could have been the next millionaire or executive. Potential means nothings when not used properly.

I thought this quote was actually pretty cool.........otherwise, I could care less what any Cardinals fan thinks.
