The shooter at VT was a 24 y.o. male from China. The people who committed suicide at my alma mater were usually young males from China or Japan attending the engineering school.

I don't know what took place at VT or why the shooter went insane, but when I heard that he was Chinese, it just reminded me of the articles I read about the people who committed suicide at my school.

Thanks for clarifying. They do sound like similar scenarios.
