No, because she isnt there yet. We have this down to a science. After 4 false labors with the first child we learned our lesson. We live right down a back street from the Hospital and my work is in between here and there. My mother in Law will get her there when it is time. I will receive a phone call when they are leaving. I will then call my boss, take off and meet them there.

Get in trouble? What am I twelve? Seriously, my wife is cool as hell. She actually enjoys the time alone with the newborn after visiting hours are over. She is giving birth at Holy Cross.

I know Shady Grove Hospital well. I had to rush my best friend there in high school one night to get an epinephrine shot. We were out at Swain's Lock smoking pot and drinking beer and being 17. Well my buddy is allergic to peanuts, and in a wasted haze he decided to shovel a mouthful of Nutter Butters. Not good!

Holy Cross Hospital. I know that hospital really well. Spent a lot of time there, mainly as a kid with my dad while he was making the rounds

My wife and I wanted to have the baby in a non secular hospital. Even though we arent Catholic it is better than the alternative.

Last year, I was at my parents' house surfing the web when I looked out the window and saw a baby black bear walking on our driveway. I raced downsairs to tell my parents, but by the time they looked out the window the bear was gone.

My whole family teased me about it for days "You sure it wasn't a big dog? "Oh look a bear! No wait, it's nothing" "Aren't you a little old to have imaginary friends, not to mention bears" It was ruthless, until of course a few days later a newspaper article came out in the local paper about bear sightings in the area.

Black bears are not the "dangerous" ones but still there have been a higher than normal amount of black bear attacks recently

So do they still make fun of you for that, or did it stop after the other sightings?

we all saw how fast he moved during katrina. better let him know now, so sometime in the fall he can get around to it

He actually moved TOO fast. He still moved faster than the idiots that lived there KNOWING they live 10+ feet below sea level and KNOWING way in advance the hurricane was going to hit them. Why should my tax dollars go to saving morons that don't want to save themselves?
