YES! Exactly!
That 'guy' delivers one of my favorite lines in the movie. When Adam Sandler can be heard destroying his dressing room after he finds out that he got stood up at his wedding they show Brady Quinn's sister, I mean the keyboard player sobbing with mascara running down his cheeks. He chokes back his tears just enough to squeak out "Ohhh God!!!" in the goofiest way possible, then goes back to crying on the little old lady's shoulder.

That's Academy Award-worthy stuff right there.
