I used to teach so I can answer all of these questions. Private lesson with the child and horse are about $70/$100 a lesson depending on where you go. Semi-Private with two or three horses and students are about $50. And Group lessons with 4 or more horses and students are about $35 an hour. You have to buy boots for your kid, and it's best to buy them a helmet and not use the one at the farm. That will run you around $100. Most kids get 1 to 2 lessons a week.

Sweet! Thanks alot! I have just earned myself Father of the year. One of my daughters loves horses, or at least she thinks she does.
