Seems to em that the legality of the site is actually in question.

Actually the legality of all of this stuff is a huge question. We need to start making some decisions as a society about how to handle the digital copyrights issues. Unless we get a clear moral basis this debate will never end. I wish there were easy answers. There aren't any though.

But I still dont see how it is illegal. There is nothing being downloaded. It is all streaming from what is uploaded on that site. As long as you dont upload or download it doesnt matter.

I think if you look at it from the standpoint that alluc is potentially enabling people to illegally access copyrighted material then it gets pretty sticky. I am not saying I think it is illegal I am just saying that content sharing and it's legality as well as its ethicasy are questionable. I tend to think a totally new sense of property is going to need to be devised to deal with it since I agree that it isn't going away and the current laws and ways of thinking do not adequately deal with the issues.
