Re: What to do with Springs??
All of you doubters out there MARK MY WORDS! Carlos Rogers is going to explode this year, Smoot will still lead the team in INT's, and Springs will be the Nickle when healthy; once everything is all said and done! IMO we have 3 #1's not 3 #2's.
It's lonely on my limb, but that's the way I like it. |

Re: What to do with Springs??
I love Smoot, but I think he is only a number 2 conerback, most of his interceptions on the redskins were from the quarterback making bad decisions than him making a great play. Some reason the last year he was here i think all but one of his interceptions were from tipped balls to, which is nice but i think a cornerback should do a lot more than catch tipped balls. Carlos may have a great year but i would be amazed if we lost shawn springs our defense would be very effective against a team with a great reciever like roy williams or larry fitzgerald.
