Collins is not talented. But he is cheap, and he knows how to operate the offense. Rattay will cost more, and would take time to train. |
Plus, who says Rattay wants to be a back-up QB on a team with a young starter. It could be he's still on the market because he does not want to be a back-up. I certainly could imagine him wanting to be a starting QB for some team. With our current QB situation, it's not likely he would even be considered.
