Michael Moore's Latest Target: Your HMO

I can definitely see how people dislike Moore, and while you shouldn't take everything he says to heart he gets a rise out of some big names which if nothing else is worth it. My main gripe is when people refuse to watch or read anything Michael Moore does then hate on him. At least know what you're hating on instead of blindly following Hannity.

Agreed. Can I get a waiver, however, for his new film? I've seen three of his films and feel competent to predict what his fourth film will look like. Hyperbole...blah, blah, blah...incoherent statement...blah, blah...funny joke...blah, blah...manipulation of facts...blah, blah...omission of key facts...blah, blah. By now, I think I can safely assume that he is good at making films that have a lot of laughs, but are very short on substance.

As for Moore making money off of his films, it's his right and I don't think he should be knocked for it. I think he can be knocked for basically churning out crappy, but funny, films that raise some interesting issues but make few noteworthy points. He can also be knocked for being the very thing he rails against (i.e., a person who believes that the ends justify the means, even if the means entail manipulation, lies, and deceit to attain widespread support among the public).
