Clinton Portis runs between the tackles as hard as any runningback in the league and he holds onto the ball more often (statistically proven not annoited).
I am a bit tired of hearing how Betts is better suited for the offense. That statement is just completely wrong. Gibbs cannot stand turnovers and Betts is a turnover machine. Portis does everything that Betts does except he is faster and more explosive.
Bottom line, Portis is the better runningback and NFL teams start their best players (except when Dale Lindsay is your coach).
