It's the "will be" part that's the tough part to crack, Firstdown

Re: Let's impeach the president.

thank god I'm talking to someone that understands alot more then me. all i know is the government finds a way to cap milk prices, but yet gas goes unnoticed. it probably has nothing to do with the amount of money the Saudis pump into the U.S. economy. to me, hardly anything is a conspiracy. its just the facts. the pre bush years, everything that happened was all Bill Clinton's fault. its just the way politics roll. you want to be the big chief, you have to bear the responsibility, whether its right or wrong

Re: Let's impeach the president.

If you believe anything you read about how "actual" gas prices are set, it has little or nothing to do with any administration.

Re: Let's impeach the president.

This isn't an issue of "democrat" or "republican". It is ALL about incompetence and Bush is the friggin' poster child. The candidate I support for '08 IS a republican. My problem is with BUSH, CHENEY and his entire piss poor administration. If you are into him, more power to ya.
And... how the hell do YOU know he DOESN'T have stock in oil???? Where are YOUR facts? I'm using common sense.
You can "fairy tale" this any way you wish to justify your blind worship of a moron.

So your argument is "We don't know that he DOESN'T have oil stock. So we assume he does"?

My argument is that the Bush family has had ties to big oil for decades. It isn't news. Quid pro quo, right?
what's this "we"? We are all Americans directly affected by the incompetence of this clown. Again, I could care less about which party you belong to. This guy is a putz.

Re: Let's impeach the president.

The press went to great lengths to try to come up with a re-count scenario that had Gore winning Florida and they weren't able to do it. They spent a lot of resources on it for about six months afterwards and they found sqaudoosh. Micheal Moore even had to put a fake newspaper headline in Fahrenheit to the effect that Gore wins Recount because there wasn't a real one.

And Popular Schmopular, Read the Constitution. Everyone knew the rules going in.

Re: Let's impeach the president.

Again..everyone here has a legitimate take on politics. It still doesn't take away from the fact that Bush sucks donkey. One of the principal dangers of vesting power in a leader who is convinced of his own righteousness -- who believes that, by virtue of his ascension to political power, he has been called to a crusade against Evil -- is that the moral imperative driving the mission will justify any and all means used to achieve it. Those who have become convinced that they are waging an epic and all-consuming existential war against Evil cannot, by the very premises of their belief system, accept any limitations -- moral, pragmatic, or otherwise -- on the methods adopted to triumph in this battle. These principles illuminate a central, and tragic, paradox at the heart of the Bush presidency. The president who vowed to lead America in a moral crusade to win hearts and minds around the world has so inflamed anti-American sentiment that America's moral standing in the world is at an all-time low. The president who vowed to defend the Good in the world from the forces of Evil has caused the United States to be held in deep contempt by large segments of virtually every country on every continent of the world, including large portions of nations with which the U.S. has historically been allied.

Re: Let's impeach the president.

Last I checked Florida is not the only state in the country. How come no one makes a big deal about how Gore distanced himself from Clinton and ended up losing Arkansas? Or how he lost his own home state of Tennessee? If he gets those votes from TN, Florida isn't even an issue.

Gore ran a shitty campain but still won the popular vote. Still doesn't dismiss the fact that Ken Lay and the sleaze machine did all kinds of tampering. I don't think I'm the only one who knows about this.

The funny thing is everytime the dems. loose an election all we hear is about election fraud. Funny when they won all those seats back in the last election the word fraud was never mentioned.
