Thats sad to hear but it is nothing that is new. If you think about it when someone dies its in the papper then you announce when the viewing and the funeral will take place. A theif then knows when the home has a very good chance of being empty and they case it out. If my memory is correct at one time back in the 80's or 90's these where very common and people would make sure the home was not empty at those times. It makes a tough time even tougher on the family.
