Right, and the coaching staff concluded (rightly or wrongly is to be determined) is that a lot of this was due to poor coverage by the secondary. They also feel that some of their young linemen, particularly Golston and Montgomery have shown a lot of progress in recent months and deserve a chance.

I just want someone to add to the Defensive end rotation. Another DT wouldnt hurt either. I am lazy right now, Smootsmack who is the top one available besides kedrick clancy who just got released by the cards.

I'm just as lazy

But I do know the Saints signed Clancy, so he's no longer an option.
